When I was around 10 years old, a neighbor taught me to carve a chain from a piece of wood. Years later I wondered if I could still do it, and that started me on my artistic journey.
I feel a strong connection to the water and the creatures that live there, I strive to make my projects as realistic as possible while honoring the natural beauty of the wood.
I use mallets, chisels, and knives to find the sculptures inside the wood.
I love working with wood. I never know where it will lead me until I finish a project.
